Main Street Goes Red!

Friday, January 29, 2010

Lakewood Ranch’s Main Street will “Go Red” to support the American Heart Association’s awareness campaign in the month of February 2010. Beginning on Monday February 1, 2010 at 5:30 pm the fountain on Main Street will turn red, a red dress will be illuminated on the side of the Polo Grill restaurant, a red spotlight will shine from Main Street and merchants will kick off a special promotion to support the cause.

Participating restaurants will serve specialty red drinks throughout the month, with a portion of the proceeds going to the American Heart Association. Look for the Go Red flyer inside each participating restaurant. Bring your sweetheart to Main Street for Valentine’s Day to help promote heart health for women!
“We are so pleased to be able to partner with the American Heart Association for Go Red month, “said Julia DeCastro, Main Street property manager. “Our merchants were thrilled to help the cause and we invite everyone to come out to enjoy a night on Main Street while supporting heart health for women!”
