Our 30-acre Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, developed by Universal Health Services and Lakewood Ranch Memorial Hospital, provides families with a wide range of medical services. Central to the medical complex is the Medical Center, a 120-bed acute-care hospital, complete with Emergency Care, Outpatient Services and a Women's Center, including birthing center.

Adjacent to the hospital is a 60,000 square-foot medical office building, which houses physician offices as well as diagnostic and laboratory facilities. Physicians maintaining practices in the medical building include obstetricians, doctors of internal medicine, cardiologists, and a number of other specialists.
