The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce

Lakewood Ranch is proud to be a member of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. The 2000 companies, organizations and individuals who comprise the Chamber recognize that by working together we can accomplish what no single member can. Through our collective vision, energy and resources, we maintain a healthy environment in which our community can grow and prosper.

As part of its continuing efforts to improve benefits for members, the Chamber has expanded into Lakewood Ranch, thanks to a cooperative agreement with Manatee Community College (MCC). The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce has a representative now working from the College's Center for Innovation & Technology offering free, confidential business counseling. This program is in an effort to help businesses gain greater access to the resources they need for success. For an appointment, contact MCC's Small Business Development Center at 941-408-1412.

The Chamber also has a long-standing arrangement with SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) to provide free counseling to take businesses to the next level. The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce is working closely with other business organizations through a regional resource center funded by the Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice and the Chamber's Sarasota Tomorrow initiative. These are just some of the many dynamic programs the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce supports to secure a more prosperous future for everyone the community. The Sarasota Chamber of Commerce has been the voice of business in Sarasota County for nearly ninety years.
