Mining – SMR Aggregates

SMR mines shells for use in road building and other construction projects. The dirt and sand that are by-products of the mining operation are also used in building and manufacturing. The mining pits that are left behind fill with water to form beautiful lakes. To date, one-mile long Lake Uihlein, is the largest example.
